MindSetting Team

Katty Larocque, RP - North Bay

As a Registered Psychotherapist at Gateway Wellness Collective, I am committed to ensuring that your voice is heard and your goals remain the priority. My approach is honest, direct, and compassionate, offering a safe space to explore your thoughts and emotions while providing practical tools to manage symptoms. I believe authenticity is essential in therapy—when both therapist and client bring their true selves into the session, it fosters trust, deep exploration, and meaningful progress.I take an integrated approach to therapy, drawing from cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), insight-oriented therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed modalities to tailor sessions to your unique needs. I specialize in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) for treatment-resistant depression and PTSD. In our sessions, I strive to create a harmonious space where empathy and honesty coexist. I understand that sharing thoughts and feelings can be challenging, and I am committed to listening with genuine compassion and understanding.

I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO) with an MA in Counselling Psychology, a Master’s in Public Health, and a background as a Registered Nurse. Since 2016, I’ve supported people through roles in palliative care, community health, and public health, all of which have deepened my understanding of the many ways we experience pain, resilience, and growth.

Now, as a therapist, I work primarily with adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, neurodivergence, grief, and big life changes. I also support those exploring meaning, purpose, and identity—especially during transitions or when life feels uncertain or overwhelming.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and rooted in respect for your lived experience. I draw from modalities such as DBT, CBT, ACT, Narrative Therapy, Existential and Humanistic approaches, and strength-based, solution-focused methods. Whether we’re building distress tolerance, processing loss, or making space for existential exploration, my focus is on what matters most to you.

I offer a grounded, non-judgmental space where your voice leads the way. Healing and growth can look different for everyone—I'm here to walk with you on your path, however it unfolds.

I am a Registered Social Worker with The Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. I have received a Bachelor of Social Work from Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia. My background includes 5 years of combined work and volunteer experience in the social services field. This involved working with vulnerable individuals living in the community and program management.

I have 3 years in program development and facilitation with seniors, women and children fleeing domestic violence, and individuals experiencing addictions and homelessness.

In all experiences, I use an anti-oppressive, strengths-based approach in treatment planning and focus on providing optimal psychosocial care using a trauma-informed lens with training in CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behavioural Therapy).

I moved around Canada a lot as a child but grew up mostly in St. Thomas Ontario. I spent 6 years in Nova Scotia gaining a love for the East Coast. Eventually I wanted to be closer to family, so I settled in London, Ontario. I enjoy scuba diving, painting, wood burning, and walking my dog.

Zane Eastabrook, RP - London

I was born and raised in London, Ontario but have called Kitchener, Ontario and Montreal, Quebec home for years of my adult life. I enjoy running, mountain biking, rock climbing and back country camping. I am a policy wonk, improvisational carpenter, self-proclaimed foodie and explorer of forests and natural spaces.

I have my MA in Counselling Psychology and I am a qualifying member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I am also certified to deliver psychedelic enhanced psychotherapy using the Mindsetting Institute’s TRIP protocol. I have been working in the human services sector for over a decade and have spent that time helping to facilitate change at both individual and system levels.

I practice Existential-Humanistic psychotherapy which often draws on Solution-Focused, Narrative, Polyvagal and Cognitive-Behavioural Therapies. While the course of treatment is driven by clients, it generally involves resolving mental distress by tending to their nervous system – retuning body and mind, engaging in self-discovery, and working on interpersonal effectiveness.

We all oscillate between different states of mental wellbeing throughout our lives, and I find meaning in helping people forge a path towards a consistent baseline of wellness. Regardless of what brought you to seek therapy, I look forward to connecting with you and helping you draw on your own resiliency to name and build toward your goals.

Mya Barak, MSW, RSW- London

I am a registered clinical social worker and psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience, most of which has taken place through my private counselling practice.

I believe psychedelics assist us in transferring thoughts into intrinsic beliefs.  The process is foundational in helping us move from the theoretical and perceptual to creating internal beliefs and experiential knowledge.  Psychedelics create opportunities for us to unlock the root causes of suffering, allowing people to recognize and fundamentally change the patterned feelings, thoughts and behaviours that keep them stuck.

I understand the principle and integral need to hold space and provide empathetic presence so as to encourage an opportunity for my clients to explore, contemplate and consider their inherent sense of ‘knowing’ and intuitive wisdom. I have been commended for my unwavering genuine, compassionate and positive regard for people. My approach prioritizes, first and foremost, building a strong foundational trusting relationship with my clients where they feel valued, seen, and wholeheartedly accepted.  I have come to know my position as a therapist in the support of psychedelics to be mainly client-driven, emphasizing listening, unobstructive presence, and non-directive communication.

It is my absolute privilege and honour to work with you on your healing journey!
