Appointment Policies

Availability:

We understand that it can be difficult to arrange for appointments due to work and familial obligations, so we offer both early morning and early evening appointments.

Due to the high demand for these session times, we strongly recommend booking weeks in advance.

Cancellations & Rescheduling:

We understand that unexpected things happen that may result in a last-minute need to reschedule. In order to avoid being billed for the session, 24 hours notice is required in most cases.

Parking:

There is free two hour parking on William St. beside the office.

NOTE: Individuals participating in psychedelic enhanced psychotherapy sessions must be picked up and dropped off, as driving after taking ketamine is prohibited for 6 hours post ingestion.

Emergencies

If a situation is life-threatening, such as a risk for suicide, please go to the Emergency Department at your local hospital or call 911 for emergency assistance.

We are not able to provide support on an “on call” basis.

Our ability to provide assistance in an emergency is limited, but we will provide crisis appointments to current clients as quickly as possible.

If an urgent mental health issue arises please contact:

Psychological services are not covered by O.H.I.P. (Ontario Health Insurance Plan).

However, most extended health insurance plans provide limited coverage for psychological services. For information about how much insurance coverage you have, please contact your insurance provider.

Additionally, if you have been the victim of a violent crime, in a motor vehicle accident or are a veteran/member of the Canadian Armed Forces you likely have insurance coverage for assessment and treatment by a registered psychotherapist, social worker or nurse.
